NASA and European Space Agency (ESA) began to experience a new rover, which will go to the Red Planet in 2016. Two years after his return, scientists plan to send another expedition to Mars, which will explore the planet's surface for the presence of life.
The spacecraft, called Entry, which is a descent demo module (EDM), will scan the Martian atmosphere as long as no land on the planet. The ship will also sample a variety of space environment on Earth and take first in the history information about electrical fields on the surface of Mars.
Project ExoMars in 2016 should start in January 2016. Flight to Mars would take nine months, the earth. The research will consist of two parts: the landing ship EDM on the Martian surface and atmosphere of the Red Planet Scan Orbiter Trace Gas Orbiter. The latter will collect information for two Earth years, measuring the level of methane and other gases that could possibly have a serious impact on the current state of the planet.
ExoMars 2016 - this is the first of two planned missions to Mars, which are jointly developing the NASA and ESA. The second expedition to the planet in 2018 ExoMars spacecraft will travel Rover, which will search Mars for evidence that existed on the planet, but maybe there is life. The ship will be equipped with a special drill, with which it will drill the surface of Mars by two meters in depth. Scientists suggest that living organisms may be hiding from the harmful ultraviolet deep underground, where they are much more likely to survive than on the surface.
