German designer Markus Kaiser has developed a device that allows sunlight through to create from ordinary sand three-dimensional objects. The device, called The Solar Sinter large Fresnel lenses used to focus the sun's rays. They allow you to achieve a single point temperature equal to 1400 - 1600 degrees Celsius. That's enough to bake the sand glass forms. Glass objects are created layer by layer in a special box that is under the lens. Surprisingly, the device delivers energy to the sun, too. All servos cost of energy derived from solar power.
The machine works fully automatic, with the movement of the sun during the day watching the special sensors, rotating platform so that the working surface got the maximum amount of light.
